Penny Loafers Are Big for Fall (and always have been, on my feet anyway...)

I have been seeing a lot of penny loafers for sale lately and I was intrigued. I was browsing the Cole Haan website, wondering if $195 for a pair of red shoes (http://www.colehaan.com/colehaan/catalog/product.jsp?productId=191672&categoryId=300254&productGroup=191669) was outrageous or reasonable, when I remembered something important. Something that everyone considering shelling out money for a trend should always try to remember. Namely, I already wore penny loafers before. And, I never really liked how they looked on my feet. They looked big. And clunky. Now that I think about it, I really hated those shoes. Yay! I just saved myself almost $200! Now about those metallic sneakers I've been wanting ...
FYI: as long as we are talking shoes, did you know that Italian sportscars, especially Ferraris, are really ideal for women to drive because the gas and clutch pedals are so close together? (You can see pictures of the pedals for yourself at www.ricambiamerica.com)
